Climate: 70F-75F || Breezy with the occasional rain, however it is still always nearly clear skied when it rains.
Terrain: Woods and Grassland, Patches of trees cover the entire island with the exception of the coastline, however there is little to no underbrush and a grassy terrain covers the entire island, even nearly reaching the ocean water. Population: The island has many small towns and markets due to its nice climate, it is also the home to many Kitsukouns. Even those who don't live here tend to travel here often for the markets and to both do their shopping and to trade their own items. Notable Island Spots: Tradewell: A peculiar little town found close to the islands shore, those who travel here often come to get rid of their unwanted items by throwing down into a well, occasionally others come to see if they can draw anything interesting from the well that others have discarded. Very few Kitsukouns actually live in Tradewell because it is said to be bad-luck to stay for too long, however if you visit and discard an item into the well it is said that you may receive luck when it is most needed. Lightfall: A wide open cool grassy range found just north of Tradewell on the highest point of the island, large smooth rocks are scattered across the terrain and it is said on the third night of each month that these stones are able to reflect the stars as clear as a reflection pool. You can also always see the whole of Sungate in the day or the night from here as it is on a hill just below on the other side of Lightfall opposite of Tradewell Wickerwood: Found right in the middle of Crophate, Wickerwood is the largest stretch of forest found in the Inked Isles, it is a great place for exploring to learn new magical moves, find materials and even make new friends! Sungate: The capital of the Inked Isles! Many Many Kitsukouns live here and it has a very large population! It is located on a hill just below Lightfall and when the sun rises in the morning it shines brightly onto the city, reflecting off of the Kitsukoun's homes and making the city appear to glow a warm golden color. |
Climate: 85F-100F || Tropical, raining frequently and very humid.
Terrain: Tropical Rain Forest, very thick undergrowth with so many trees that the sun is all but blocked from reaching the ground below. Vines dangle from many of the trees and a variety of insects seem to just be everywhere. Population: Not many Kitsukouns dare to live here, and those that do must have a great knowledge of magic in order to be able to make it through the thick and dangerous terrain. Notable Island Spots: Oakenrest: The biggest city in all of Eanaven located right along the coastline. Most of the homes are tree-houses high above the ground and a few of them are hidden in the undergrowth or even tunneled in the roots of the trees above. It is far enough away from the depths of the forest to be safe for most Kitsukoun, though still it hardly compares in size to Sungate on Crophate. Everport: The port of Eanaven, not so much a city but the main place for Kitsukouns to dock their boats when they arrive on the island, a few Kitsukouns do live here but there isn't much to do here though many of Eanaven's resources arrive here as well as things that Eanaven exports to the other islands. Magewyth: A very popular part of the Inked Isles where many Kitsukouns interested in learning magic travel to! A popular place for guests to stay is an Inn run by the head of the Island Seeka! She is considered the most powerful in all of the land, however the only way you can stay here is if you prove to Seeka that you too are magically skilled! (your Kitsukoun must have learned at least 3 moves) |

Climate: 32F-55F || Brisk and Windy
Terrain: Rocky open grasslands and moors. Population: Not many Kitsukouns live here, most find it too windy and cold, especially in winter! Very few travelers and nomads are found in Bellwyn as opposed to settled Kitsus. Notable Island Spots: Grimwich: The only town in all of Bellwyn, there are a few small families that live here though its not quite sheltered from the wind, however there is a large bolder found in the center of town that has gold engraving on it. No kitsu knows the origin of the bolder, but it is believed that it may hold some magical properties that make the few who live there strong enough to brave the winds. Even those who do not think it is magic understand that it is very important to all Kitsukoun ancestry though they aren't entirely sure why. Dewvalley: A wide open valley full of tall grass and weeds, many flowers grow here in the spring and summer time, however it is far from Grimwich and very few seem to be willing to brave the cold winds to get there. |
Climate: 55F-65F || Airy and cool, always foggy
Terrain: Vast dark forest with caves hidden in the depths, the trees are so thick that light does not reach the ground below, and it is just cold enough to always be foggy. Population: Despite how creepy it feels on this island, many Kitsukouns call it home and live scattered across the island! Most of the Kitsukouns who live here practice Dark magic, and even those who practice dark magic but don't live here often visit here to practice and learn new moves since the island appears trapped in an endless night. Notable Island Spots: Snakegulf: A small island located between Eanaven and Nightfall, Sea snakes call this island home so it is often avoided by Kitsukouns, though the snakes venom can be used in potions and medicines. Shadowbell: A small dark and eery town that is found in the darkest part of the island, many who visit here find themselves being mugged or attacked. Wildfort: A part of the forest that is highly populated with other animals of various sizes, some can be tamed to be pets, others can be hunted! However some are much larger then kitsukouns and are dangerous. There are also many pants here that can be used as ingredients for potions! Westview: A popular gathering spot for many kitsukouns! It is the one spot on the island that the suns light reaches and it is a common attraction at sunset and sunrise, even those who claim Nightfall as their home enjoy the view. Beyond: Just past Shadowbell in the northern most part of Nightfall there is a dock that goes out onto the water and appears to just vanish into the fog, kitsukouns who travel here never speak of their experiences so no one knows what's out there, but whatever it is, it isn't nothing... |

Climate: 20F-32F || Dry blistering cold
Terrain: Rocky mountain with many pathways for hiking. Population: Despite its cold climate, there are many shrines scattered across the island, Kitsukouns come from far and wide to visit these shrines, though the only Kitsukouns who live here are the Shrine Guards and Monks, visitors may choose to do a stay at one of the shrines overnight or even for a few nights, but only those who choose to be monks or guards may live there permanently, the island as a whole is considered sacred ground. Notable Island Spots: Grayrun: The biggest hill on Stonepass, it is always covered in snow and is often used for sledding and having snow-ball fights and other snow fun! Oldpost: Was once a large town to many who lived on Stonepass, it is now abandoned and rundown. It is a bit of a tourist destination now with one shrine located in the town's center, a single monk still lives there tending to his shrine. Once a year though this town is still home to a large festival that happens in the middle of the Winter where all of those from the shrines on the islands come and host it, there is food for anyone who stumbles upon the event as well as warm drinks and other fun events! Winterspell: A small remote place found hidden within the caves on the island, no one knows where the cave is and it is said that this is because the cave actually moves. Anyone who enters Winterspell have a curse put on them, not a single Kitsukoun who has entered the caves has come back the same... |
