Kitsukouns have been found to have two different body types! These two types are TOY and STANDARD
TOY Kitsukouns are much smaller in size and their backs are slanted downward, their body is also shorter in length then that of a Standard Kitsukoun. Over all they are small and have a very easy time hiding in tiny places. Toy Kitsukouns are also found to be much more common. STANDARD Kitsukouns are roughly twice the size of Toy Kitsukouns, have longer bodies and do not have slanted backs. These Kitsukouns are considered Rare and are stronger and more durable then Toy Kitsukouns |
A soul filled Fortune Kitsukoun is a protector of spirits, kitsukoun, and their shrines. They are fill of good-luck and good fortune, so it would be best to befriend this kind if you are in true need of good-luck! They work hard to guard the shrines on the inked isles as well as the islands themselves, their key features include having a floating paper lantern connected to their scroll tails (with a real fur tail dangling from the bottom of the lantern) they also have mini lanterns with mini tails danging from behind their ears!

Opposite of the soul-filled Kitsukoun, bad fortuned kitsukoun are full of bad-luck and will give it to anyone they come across, their fortunes are also bad and are normally revealed when they die (going out with a BANG right?) They excel in tricking people and playing pranks on them. They are deemed 'Evil" however there are some bad fotruned kitsukoun who aren't so bad, but the chances of finding one like this are very slim. Their key features including having souls on the end of their scrolls, and the same type of souls tend to follow them around, so if you see souls floating around you are likely to stumble upon a bad fortuned kitsukoun!

Fortune tellers are the most rare of the types of kitsukouns! They have some mind-reading powers as well as the ability to see into the future. Fortune teller kitsukouns store their magic and powers in their third eye/gem. This gem can become broken or chipped, resulting in the kitsukoun loosing their powers. Some fortune teller Kitsus also sometimes have a staff with a seeing orb on top of it, which is used to see the fortunes of others.
(There is no Item in the shop to turn a regular Kitsukoun into a Fortune teller. This type of Kitsukoun must be originally designed as such by an official group artist) |
